Creating a household of Sims is one of the most important aspects ofThe Sims 4,but not everyone has the time or energy to make multiple fully customized Sims. While you can certainly download other Simmers' creations from The Gallery in the game, this system does not easily support Custom Content creations.

Luckily, Curseforge is a modding platform where many Custom Content creators post their creations, including fully made households complete with Custom Content like hair or clothes. Many households on Curseforge feature Sims decked out in different forms of Custom Content, meaning that you will also need to download this fan-made content if you want the Sims to look the same in your game. Luckily, creators helpfully link to all the Custom Content they use on their posts, so you may easily download anything you need.

8Casual Goth Townies

Sometimes, it can be more advantageous to download free Custom Content instead of one ofthe numerous amounts of Kitsthe official Sims team releases. Although theGoth Galore Kitwas released, you can still download m0ckest’s Casual Goth Townies without having to purchase any official content.

This household features eight different sims from various backgrounds and orientations, all decked out in their greatest goth fashion. Not only does each Sim come with their own outfit, but they also have complete preferences, traits, and aspirations.

7Roomies Makeover

In one of the Oasis Springs neighborhoods, you may recognize the Roomies household, one of the original families that came with the Base Game of The Sims 4. These four Sims were inspired by the hit comedy show ‘New Girl’ with each Sim loosely based on one of the main characters.

Since these Sims came with the base game, there have been many content updates that add new clothes, aspirations, and traits to the game. This makeover of the Roomies Household centers around outfitting each Sim with modern clothes from thevarious expansion packsin the game.

6Teen Townies

If you have purchased expansions like High School Years or Growing Together, then you probably want to add more teen sims into your game. Opheliasprings is a creator on Curseforge who made the Teen Townies household, which features eight teenagers from various backgrounds.

This household is the perfect addition to any high school playthrough of The Sims 4, since the school will be populated by the teenagers in the community. Furthermore, this household comes complete with full outfits and traits for every sim, so you can easily place them into the game without having to edit anything.

5BFF Makeover

Similar to the Roomies, the BFF Household is another group of Sims that originally came with the Base Game of The Sims 4. These three best friends live in Willow Creek, and have some serious history with each other.

Cariocasimmer was able to update these three Sims with newer outfits, while still keeping their general personalities intact. It is up to you to determine if the crush that both these girls have on Travis will blossom, or if something completely different will happen.

4Caliente Makeover

If you are a massive fan of the Sims, then you may remember that the Caliente family originated in the second installment of the Sims. In The Sims 4, the Caliente family features Dina and Nina Caliente living with their mother, Katrina, and an extra roommate named Don Lothario.

Since this Sims family features some of the most famous Sims in the entire series, it is no surprise that there are countless makeovers of the family available on Curseforge. This makeover focuses on updating the look of each Sim, but still keeping the overall style of each character the same.

3Landgraab Makeover

As the most wealthy family in the Sims 4, the Landgraabs definitely needed a makeover to better showcase their pompous attitudes. In this makeover, Nancy is preparing her son Malcolm to take over her criminal empire, all while her unassuming husband continues to work as a surgeon.

The best part about playing with the Landgraabs is the amount of hidden lore within the family, since they have an estranged son who lives in Oasis Springs.

2Hare Square Crew

The Hare Square Crew was created by ThinkSims, and features six different original Sims that you can add to your game. Every Sim in this household has their own traits, outfits, quirks, and aspirations that they are working towards.

ThinkSims has gone out of their way to create storylines and relationships between all the Sims in the household, making the gameplay incredibly interesting. Some of the Sims in the Hare Square Crew are even married to one another, allowing you to play with these complex relationships and shape whatever chaos you want.

1Goth Family

Without a doubt, the Goth Family is the most recognizable Sims 4 family, and they have already received a mini-update from EA. However, cariocasimmer’s Goth Family makeover introduces some new members to the family, such as Mortimer’s mother Cordelia.

Cordelia is a spellcaster and joined the family to teach Cassandra how to better wield her magic, although you will need the Realm of Magic pack to utilize this content. Furthermore, this makeover also adds Duchess, a small cat that is best friends with Alexander.
