Granblue Fantasy Relinkfeatures plenty of characters, and each hero comes with unique skills and abilities. Every character belongs to an element class and casts different types of skills. To unlock better skills, you need to collect mastery points and progress through the tree efficiently.
As keeping track of all the abilities on the tree might be a bit overwhelming, you should know which are the best skills to unlock first. Because ehere are so many skills, you will need to choose a few to begin. It is crucial to know what skills you should unlock first in Ganblue Fantasy Relink to have the best experience.

10Armor Break
Deals Damage And Inflicts -Def On Opponents
This is the first offensive skill of the captain you’re able to unlock, so don’t worry about spending a lot of mastery points. You can alsoincrease the effectiveness of the Armor Breakby spending more mastery points in the skill tree. We recommend getting this skill for the main character at the start.
9Panacea
Restores Allies’ HP
We previously mentioned the offensive skill of the captain, sothe defensive skills should also be included. If you don’t have a healer on your team, then unlocking Panacea is recommended. This skill will allow you to cast a circle that can heal the allies.
ensure you hold the skill button and place the circle accordingly to effectively heal everyone. This skill can highly benefit you in the early game if you don’t have anymain healer in your party. However, if you do have a healing unit, then you might want to reconsider for the next skill on the list.

8L’Ombre d’Heir
Allows Siegfried To Parry And Counter
If you are looking for one of the best early skills, then look no further than L’Ombre d’Heir. This skill L’Ombre d’Heir canparry the attack of the enemy and hit them with a counterthat deals massive damage.
However, do remember that its execution is a little difficult, so you will have to time the skill. The ideal way is to wait for the opponent to attack and instantly activate the skill. L’Ombre d’Heir is an exclusive skill that can also be used inSiegfried’s best build.

7Clarity
Regenates Health And Removes Debuffs
Clarity is another defensive skill exclusive to the main character. If you don’t feel like using Panacea, thengoing for the Clarity is also a decent option. It can be used in critical conditions to help turn the tides of the battle.
This skill not only removes all debuffs applied on the allies by the enemies, but it also regenerates their health. It is arguably one of the best defensive skills of the captain that can come in handy in difficult situations. We would highly recommend unlocking it if you don’t have a healer available or in your party.

6Rain Of Arrows
Deals Damage And Lowers Opponent’s Atk Up to 25 Percent
Rain of Arrows is yet another skill exclusive to the captain. The main character has some of the best skillsin Granblue Fantasy Relink, so they are almost all worth unlocking. Rain of Arrows is meant to be used from range, so once an opponent is in your sight, use the skill to deal some heavy damage from afar.
This skill does more than just damage, as when it hits the opponent, it lowers their attacks. So, not only will you be damaging your opponents, but you will also be applying a debuff to them that can possibly turn the tides in your favor. Do note that you will need to spend some more mastery points in order to get it, as it is available a little down in the offensive skill tree.

5Setsuna
Deals Massive Damage And Covers A Large Area
If you have unlocked Narmaya, one of the most powerful characters in Granblue Fantasy Relink, it’s a good idea to get Setsuna early in the game. Setsuna is a chargeable skill, meaning you can power it up and cover a large area of attack. It’s the perfect skill for when you have Setsuna in your party. As Setsuna has a pretty decent range, it can be called a better replacement for Crescent Moon.
4Drachenstolz
Grants Guts, +Atk, And + Def To Vane
Dracehnstolz is a skill exclusive to Vane, the best tank in Granblue Fantasy Relink. If your team has a tank, then it should be none other than Vane. Also, in the early game, you must unlock Dracehnstolz to make Vane even more tanky. This will allow him to take more hits, which will give more openings to the DPS and Sub-DPS.
Upon using Dracehnstolz, Vane will be granted Guts, more attack, and defense. This will definitely increase your survivability in the game during boss battles. So, we would highly recommend unlocking it early in-game.

3Frozen Blade
Deals High Damage And Can Be Used Twice In A Row
Frozen Blade is a spell exclusive to Katalina. You won’t have to use any crewmates, but you will have to spend some mastery points to unlock the spell. Frozen Blade is a ranged ice spell that can deal some massive damage to opponents.
Also, you should note that the skill can be cast twice in a row before it enters cool down. So, this skill comes in pretty handy, especially in the early game, which makes it worth unlocking.

2Armor-Piercing Round
A Ranged Spell That Pierces Through Enemies
Eugen is one of the best characters to play early, as he has some great ranged skills. One of his best skills to unlock early is the Armor-Piercing Round. This is Eugen’s first skill, so you won’t have to spend many mastery points, and it deals pretty good damage.
Armor Piercing Round deals some more damage as each shell shot from the gun has a little blast effect.

1Sacred Winds
Inflicts Glaciate On Enemies
Upon using this skill, Katalina will cast an ice spell with a massive radius that inflicts Glaciate on the enemies. Also, the effect and duration can be increased if Ares is summoned and you hold the skill while casting it.
