Unlike other craft survival games,Nightingaleutilizes a realm generation system that can be customized to your play style. Looking similar to a tarot deck, you’re able to open portals to Fae Realms filled with resources using crafted or purchased Realm Cards. While Major Realm Cards affect the characteristics of a realm, Minor Realm Cards contain debuffs that can help (or hinder) the realm you settle in or explore.
As a Realmwalker, you’ll need to decide if the penalties are worth it for some Minor Cards. Minor Realm cards can be acquired in chests, purchased from an essence trader, or crafted at an Enchanter’s Focus table. Even with the possible cons, the best Minor Realm cards can help you increase your resource yields and loot drops.

10Angler Card
Food is an absolute must as you explore new realms. Fishing is a low-stress, early-game method to get food for those who need a break from hunting wolves and deer. The Angler Card improves your fishing skill and resource drops, while also allowing you to hide from hostile sight whilefishing.

9Farm Card
As you explore more dangerous realms, food becomes more important to sustain yourself. Each Fae biome includes unique plants and crops you can harvest and grow in your own Respite Realm. The Farm Card increases crop growth speed, improves their yield, and increases the chance of finding essence when harvesting crops.
The Farm Card can be crafted or bought from the Forest Hunt essence trader.
8Lumber Mill Card
One of the best early to mid-game resource cards, the Lumber Mill Card, increases wood drops and reduces the time needed to refine wood products. It can also improve the quality of wood items. As you begin to build your estate and expand your workshop, wood quickly becomes a high-priority resource. The downside to this Minor Card is that it will reduce the effectiveness of other materials, so verify to use it sparingly.

7Quarry Card
As you begin to improve your estate and tools, stone blocks become incredibly important. Because stone can be a burden on your weight limit, the Quarry Card is a savior. This card increases stone drops, reduces the time needed to refine stone products, and improves the quality of stone items. The cost is that it reduces the effectiveness of other materials. Regardless, not having to run back and forth from resource nodes is worth it.

6Forge Card
Nightingale allows you to channel your inner dwarf as you mine stone and ores throughout the realms. The Forge Card increases ore drops, reduces the time needed to refine ore products, and improves the quality of metal items. The downside to this Minor Card is that it will reduce other materials’ effectiveness, so consider using this in the mid to late-game stages.

5Settler Apogean card
In order to increase gear score and improve your estate, you’ll need to start refining the materials you’ve gathered. The Settler Apogean Card increases the output of refined building materials and crops, while improving the fortitude of structures. 4Hunter Eminent Card
Whether you’re trying to stock up on meat, hide, or bones, hunting is an important skill to focus on during any stage of the game! The Hunter Eminent Card increases resource drops from slain creatures and the damage dealt to their weak points. The downside to this card is that damage dealt to anywhere besides a weak point is decreased.

3Dragon’s Hoard Apogean Card
As the name implies, the Dragon’s Hoard Apogean Card increases the rarity and quantity of loot found in chests. The downside of the Dragon’s Hoard Card of any level is that your damage resistance is lowered, so make sure to evaluate your gear stats before activating it.

2Harvester’s Workshop Card
If you’re doubting which resource-aimed Minor Card to focus on, the Harvester’s Workshop Card is perfect for you. With this card activated, crafted tools yield higher resource drops and have a reduced stamina cost. The downside is that all tools will have lower damage output, so it’s best to use this card in your Respite Realm or within Abeyance and Antiquarian realms where danger is lower.

Essence can be considered the most valuable resource in the game, regardless if you’re just starting out or are entering late game. Not only do you need essence for crafting, but it’s used as currency with the realms’ essence traders. The Treasury Eminent Card helps you farm essence by increasing the chance of essence drops. When you slay creatures or harvest crops, you’ll also produceessence dust.
