10See Every Gold Saucer Date

Upon clearing the main questline of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you will be presented with a robust post-game that grants you access to a full Chapter Selection and a detailed Play Log that displays your current relationship level with each character in your party.

In addition, you can specifically select who you want to accompany youduring Chapters 8 and 12 as your date at The Gold Saucer.To do this, open the Pause Menu and navigate to the System option. From here, choose ‘Extra Settings,’ then select who you want to be your dates for those chapters!

9Gather All Enemy Intel

One of the first pieces of Materia you obtain in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the Assess Materia, allowing its user to obtain crucial information on their opponent, revealing details such as its Weaknesses and Detrimental Status Effects, along with its Immunities and if it hasitems you can Steal via the Steal Materia.

While you should be Assessing every enemy you encounter during your playthrough, you can easily forget to do so during intense boss encounters or when you’re wrapped up in the story. So, when you’re done with your initial journey, go through your Enemy Intel list and seek out the ones you missed to fill it out!

8Obtain Every Piece Of Materia

Speaking of Materia, there are A TON of it in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, all offering unique traits for whoever you equip them with, making them immensely powerful in specific situations or builds. While you will likely have most of the Materia available to you by the end of your journey, you will likely also be missing a few.

Whether it’s theEarly GameorLate Game,Materia pairings are crucial to your success and will make overcoming some of the more challenging encounters substantially more manageable, which goes hand-in-hand with some of the other entries on this list. So be sure to track down any Materia you’re missing to be prepared for every situation!

7Tackle Hard Mode Versions Of Mini-Games

As you work your way through each expansive region of the game,you will encounter your fair share of mini-games that initially offer a decent amount of challenge.Still, upon clearing them, you will learn that you’re able to take on even more challenging versions.

While you may complete their more challenging counterparts before clearing the story, you will likely overlook them or move on with your life upon clearing them to move the questline ahead. If you did this, then revisiting them after you roll credits will keep you busy and likely irritated. The mini-games that get a more challenging version are as follows:

On the topic of more challenging things to do in the post-game of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the Musclehead Colosseum will receive new challenges for you to tackle after you beat the game’s main questline.

However, be warned: These new Combat Challenges are substantially harder than anything offered before. You best be prepared before taking them on, or you will be swiftly embarrassed in front of Dio, everyone’s favorite ‘Muscle Daddy.’

5Master Queen’s Blood

It’s a bit of an obvious one, but Queen’s Blood is so dang good that seeking out the conclusion of its mysterious and dark storyline should be one of your top priorities upon rolling credits for the first time.

You will also gain access to new Booster Packs via the General Store,enabling you to obtain rare cards only available post-credits. This, of course, will help you gear up to become the Blood Champion!

4Clear New Combat Simulator Challenges

Now that you have completed the main questline of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you might have a few loose ends to clean up, with one of them being the Phenomenon Intel questlines present in every region. Completing these and furthering Chadley’s Combat Simulator will unlock new Combat Missions centered around Zack and Sephiroth.

But there’s one substantial caveat: They can only be tackled in Hard Mode. However, what’s there is incredibly cool and worth seeking out if you cannot get enough of this world and its characters. Just ensure you bring your A-Game, as you will need it.

3Earn All Johnny’s Seaside Inn Treasure Trove Curios

Johnny’s Seaside Inn will become one of your main hubs as you progress through the story, which will eventually get a nice overhaul, showcasing some of your most significant accomplishments and challenges via trinkets and other collectibles, making it an excellent way to look back on your long-winded journey and relax.

However,there are 88 Curios in total you’re able to obtain,which can take lots of time and effort to do and can be rather challenging. This should keep you busy for a while and will make for the perfect way to spend your time in the endgame, allowing you to spend even more time with this outstanding cast of characters!

2Defeat Gilgamesh

Completing all of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s Phenomenon Intel questlines will lead to a super-secret and super-challenging boss encounter against the one and only Gilgamesh, putting your skills to the test, making it best to tackle after you roll credits for the first time, as you will need to prepare your party.

In order to square off against Gilgamesh, you must complete the following Phenomenon Intel quests:

After gathering all Protorelics from every region highlighted above, you must traverse the Meridian Ocean for four more Protorelics, having you tackle extremely challenging encounters against Summons, which will give you a run for your money. Obtaining these Protorelics will finally allow you to battle Gilgamesh. Good luck!

1Clear Hard Mode

Lastly, clearing Hard Mode will be the ultimate finale to your post-game experience in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, posing as the game’s ultimate challenge. While it is substantially more grueling than the other difficulty options, a few tricks may help you overcome the initial obstacles it presents.

First and foremost, using the HP<>MP Materia to swap a character’s HP and MP Stats will be ultra-useful, as you can apply it to your Healer and use it as a near-infinite source of Healing. Furthermore, using Cushions on Benches in the open-world sections will fully restore your HP AND MP, despite what the prompt says.

MP consumption and preservation will be your biggest hangup in Hard Mode, but these tips and tricks will hopefully give you some breathing room to succeed and conquer one of the game’s most challenging aspects!
