Summary
Last Epochhas nearly endless build diversity and variety. Every class and Mastery in the game has several viable builds, and there’s always the possibility of whipping something together yourself. You can make it through most of the game’s campaign by just choosing whichever skills you want to use and rolling with it.
If you’re the type of player that loves minion builds, you’re in luck. There are tons of powerful minion builds to try across a few different classes in the game. Below, we’ll take a look at just a few examples of some strong minion builds to try out.

Build Pros and Cons
This build utilizes the Druid’s Spriggan Form, Spriggan minions, Entangling Roots, and Scorpions to deal massive amounts of poison damage while fighting alongside your companions. This build offers a nice mix between minion and direct combat, not relying overly on the minions to deal damage for you.

The main way this build deals damage is through poison stacks, which are applied by the Spriggan Form’s Summon Vines, Serpent Strike, Entangling Roots, and your summoned Spriggan and Scorpion.
The Beastmaster is the definitive minion Mastery for Primalists, so naturally there are quite a few minion-based builds that work well. One of the most unique is the Squirrel build. This build uses theHerald of the Scurry Uniqueto turn your Wolf companion into Squirrels, which can then stack tons of bleed damage.

Herald of the Scurry also lets you summon Squirrels up to twice your companion limit, so with the right setup, you’re able to have 10 Squirrels active at once. Each of your Squirrels will stack bleed and armor shred, allowing you to attack with Swipe for tons of damage.
One of the most unique builds on this list is the Storm Crows melee Beastmaster build. This build only uses Storm Crows for its minions, but it does so to great effect. Using a combination of Tempest Strike and Swipe, you won’t be lacking in melee damage, and your summoned Storm Crows will get buffed and healed as you attack.

This build takes quite a bit of optimizing to get up and running, especially at higher Corruption levels, but it’s definitely one of the most fun ways to play a Beastmaster. This build will definitely put your skills in gearing to the test, but its definitely worth the effort.
The Rogue, and by extension, Falconer, aren’t the first classes that come to mind when you think of minions, but this build is one of the strongest minion-based builds, thanks to the Ballista. ThisFalconer buildutilizes Explosive Trap with the Blast Rain and Siege Engineering skill nodes to quickly and automatically summon your Ballistas.

In the Ballista skill tree, you have Practical Build and Armed Construction to make your Ballistas deal more damage, but have a shorter duration, then explode when they expire. These skills together create a chain reaction of explosions that is very satisfying to experience.
The Necromancer is the go-to class for anything minion-related. Of all the Mastery classes in Last Epoch, Necromancer has the highest number of viable minion builds. That said, rather than summoning an army of minions (which we’ll take a look at below), this build revolves around sacrificing your minions to summon one, powered-up Abomination.

With the Age of Undeath node in the Assemble Abomination skill node, you can make your Abomination last forever, as long as you don’t summon additional Skeletons or Skeletal Mages. This allows you to romp around with a giant Abomination, tearing through anything that gets in your way.
The Undead Army Necromancer build is a classic “summon as many minions as you can” build. If you’ve dreamed of running around with an army of minions, this is the build you want to be playing. This build uses Wraiths, Bone Golems, Volatile Zombies, and Skeletal Mages to create your own personal army.
Using Aaron’s Will Unique armor, you can increase your maximum amount of summonable Bone Minions according to your maximum summonable skeletons. This creates a nice loop where the more minions you have, the more you can summon. Combined with the skill Dread Shade, your army will be dealing tons of Necrotic damage.
