Summary

InDisney Lorcana, there are hundreds of useful cards that can be played to gain the upper hand. From songs to characters to locations, there’s always a strategy for you to uncover. Items in particular are helpful at giving you an advantage in the game, if you know how to use them.

We’ve gone through all the new items in the third set, and Into the Inklands has some unique items for you to find. Here are some of the best items you can use in the set and how they compare to the rest. Hopefully, they’ll take your deck to the next level!

Disney Lorcana Item Air Foil

10Airfoil

If you have a deck designed to play actions constantly, then this is one of the best items for you. Once you’ve played two or more actions, you can exert this card to draw another. While you’re not guaranteed to get something you need, it’s a great way to get started.

Focusing on card draw mechanics, you’ll end up essentially earning additional cards by following your own strategy. It might take a few turns to get the hang of, but it’s worthwhile in the right hand.

Heart Of Te Fiti Lorcana Card

9Heart Of Te Fiti

The Heart of Te Fiti is a useful item you can use to bolster your inkwell, granting you additional ink to spend each turn. With a cost of three to play and a cost of two to use, you can take the top card of your deck and place it into your inkwell, exerted.

While you’re able to’t make use of the additional ink right away, it’s useful for your next turn. The risk with this comes with the chance to ink a card that you might have needed, however, it’s well worth the effort since you may ink uninkable cards.

Disney Lorcana Item mapof treasure planet

8Map Of Treasure Planet

The Map of Treasure Planet can make locations even more lucrative to you. In addition to paying less for a location, you can also pay less to move characters to a location.

When paired with specific cards or locations, like the RLS Legacy, the effect can stack and essentially move to a location for free – after you lay the groundwork. If paired with The Queen’s Castle, you can continuously move characters to the location and reap the reward of drawing a card at the start of your turn.

Disney Lorcana Item Aurelian Gyrosensor

7Aurelian Gyrosensor

Card searching makes getting the perfect hand much easier, and being able to peek at the top of your deck and relocate unwanted cards to the bottom of the deck is a useful mechanic. You’ll know what card you can draw at the start of your next turn, which can help you strategize how to gain lore and outwit your opponent.

With only a cost of two ink, you’re able to play this card early and start filtering through your deck. The more characters you have that quest, the more cards you can search through. Set yourself up for success!

Maui’s Fish Hook Lorcana Card

6Maui’s Fish Hook

If you have Maui in your deck, Maui’s Fish Hook is a necessity. When Maui is in play, you can use this item’s ability for free. With Shapeshift, you can either grant Evasive to one character until your next turn or you can add three to their Strength for the turn.

Use this item to help create Evasive characters that are tough to beat. With the Evasive trait, you can protect your favorite characters and allow them to quest without worry, which brings you one step closer to winning.

Disney Lorcana Item Vault Door

5Vault Door

With Vault Door, your locations gain Resist +1, and any characters at these locations will benefit from this, too. This is a great way to protect your locations and characters from being banished, especially if paired with other cards that also grant Resist. You can make cards, like Cinderella, Stouthearted, nigh unstoppable.

When incoming damage dealt to a character is reduced, they can withstand some of the toughest opposing cards and turn the table in your favor. If paired with cards like Beast, Relentless, you can create a loop where you take minimal damage and continue to banish opposing characters.

Disney Lorcana: Starlight Vial card

4Starlight Vial

As one of the first Lorcana-exclusive items, the Starlight Vial comes straight out of the game’s lore. Aside from this, the item allows you to pay two less ink for the next action played during your turn. This can help you play powerful songs if you don’t want to exert a character to sing.

Additionally, you may banish the item for two ink, which allows you to draw to cards. After you draw, you must choose and discard a card. This allows you to reorient your hand and evaluate your next steps. With two abilities, this item is certainly versatile.

Disney Lorcana Item Cleansing rainwater

3Cleansing Rainwater

If you want to remove damage from your characters, Cleansing Rainwater is a great item for it. With this, when banished, you can remove up to two damage from each of your characters in play. It’s a great card to play when paired with other cards, like Cinderella, Gentle and Kind, if playing anAmber/Sapphire Princess Deck.

Removing damage will keep your characters in play for longer, and Moana, Of Motunui, can ready your Princess characters so that they cannot be challenged. With the right strategy, you can wipe your opponent’s characters from the board without banishing your own.

The Heart Of Atlantis Lorcana Card

2Heart Of Atlantis

Questing with characters is the most common way to get lore, but many characters cost a lot of ink. With the Heart of Atlantis, you can reduce the cost of the next character you play that turn.

While this item has a cost of four, you’ll be able to use it to reduce the cost of any and all characters by two, granting you more ink to spend each turn. Powerful characters can be played early, and characters that cost two ink can be played for free.

Disney Lorcana: Lucky Dime card

1Lucky Dime

With a cost of seven ink, it will take a while to get this card into play (without a little help), however, it’s worth it. When in play, spend two ink to exert this item and choose a character of yours. You’ll gain lore equal to the amount the character quests for, without having to exert the character.

For characters that can gain four lore, this is an excellent way to quickly get lore without making them vulnerable to a challenge. When combined with questing, you’re sure to reach your goal in no time.
