Gladiator Ability Explained

Forge, Okoye, America Chavez, and Nakia in this deck will help empower your cards. If possible, reserve their power for Gladiator or Sebastian Shaw. Remember thatSebastian Shaw gains an additional +2 power every time he is empowered. On the other hand, if you don’t have Gladiator or Shaw in your hand yet, play these cards instead of wasting your turn. Use Wong to benefit twice from the On Reveal effects of these cards, thus gaining more power.
Silver Surferis another useful support card in the deck. He provides +2 power to all your 3 energy cards.Half of your deck benefits from Surfer’s effect, which is a significant advantage. Additionally, there’s Brood in your deck. The Broodlings it adds to the location are considered 3 energy cards, so they also benefit from the bonus provided by Silver Surfer.
It’s ideal to play Negasonic Teenage Warhead as early as possible. Since she destroys the first card added to her location, your opponent will need to place another card there. Yondu is another destroyer in your deck. He is both a cheap card andhas the potential to eliminate a powerful card of your opponent,making Gladiator’s job easier.

Reveal Combo Deck
The goal in this alternative deck is to trigger the ‘On Reveal’ effects of some of your cards, including Gladiator,multiple times.This way, you’re able to not only destroy several cards from your opponent but also reach high power levels with other cards in your deck.

On Reveal: Add a 8-Power Tiger to another location.
Wong is the key to having On Reveal abilities twice in your deck. Additionally,if you play Mystique after Wong, Mystique will copy his Ongoing ability. As a result, the On Reveal abilities occurring where both are present will be triggered four more times. Adding four tigers with White Tiger can bring you considerable satisfaction.
Grandmaster is another name that allows you to use your On Reveal abilities once more. This way,you may further empower your Black Panther or use Black Widow to fill your opponent’s locations with Widow’s Bite. Additionally, Absorbing Man can be beneficial if played with good timing, as he copies the On Reveal effect of the last card you played.

Potential Threats
For both of your decks, there are some dangerous cards you can encounter. These cards can prevent the triggering of your On Reveal abilities or reset the power of your cards.
Cosmo can be problematic for your deck since it is a card thatcan disable On Reveal abilities. In this case, you may consider adding Enchantress to your deck. Another potential threat is Shadow King. With its ability,it resets the power of all cards in its location to their base starting levels. Luke Cage is a good option to counter Shadow King. With his ability, Cage prevents the power of other cards in his location from decreasing.
Furthermore, if there is Armor in the location where Gladiator is present, it would be wise to add Enchantress to your deck, as cards cannot be destroyed there.
You also need to observe whether your opponent’s deck is focused on the ‘destroy’ keyword. If their deck revolves around ‘destroy’, Gladiator accidentally eliminating cards like Bucky Barnes, Deadpool, or Wolverine could make things worse for you. In such a case, it would be a good option to focus on other cards in your deck instead of heavily relying on Gladiator.
