This Artifact set can be found in Fontaine, the land of Hydro. This Artifact set will be better on some characters than others, so keep an eye out for characters who have healing abilities or primarily play support roles.

What Does Songs Of Days Past Do?

Songs of Days Past is a fantastic support Artifact for healing characters. The set increases your character’s healing powers and increases their damage.

The two-piece setincreases healing by 15 percent.

The four-pieceis where things get interesting. When the character heals one of their teammates, their total healing created will be recorded over six seconds.Once six seconds pass, it will trigger the Waves of Days Past effect, whichincreases the active character’s damage by eight percent of the total healing that was previously recorded. This effect lasts up to ten seconds or until the effect has been triggered five times.

Where To Find Songs of Days Past

Songs of Days Past can be found in theBelleau Region of Fontaine, between two Teleport Waypoints.

Barbara

Barbarais simply a healer. Her Elemental Skill,Let the Show Begin, creates a ring of Hydro around her, healing the active character and applying Hydro on the nearby area. Her other ability,Shining Miracle, heals all party members.

Because she’s a healer, Songs of Days Past benefits what she does best: heal. Barbara doesn’t do much other than that, so the four-piece’s Attack buff can give her alliesadditional offensive bonuses that she wouldn’t otherwise be able to give them.

If you don’t want that damage buff, you can pair the two-piece Songs of Days Past with another two-piecethat increases HP, like Maiden Beloved or Ocean-Hued Clam.

Barbara’s healing abilities scale off her HP, so yoursubstats’ main focus should be on giving her as much HP as possible.

Barbara’s skills also have long cooldowns, so it will be useful if you havehigh Energy Recharge substats.

Yaoyao

One of Yaoyao’s abilities allows her to throw out her bunny pal, Yuegui, which will do the following things:

Her other skill,Moonjade Descent, creates an explosion which deals Dendro damage to nearby enemies and heals all party members. It’s kind of like her first ability, but more intense.

Genshin Impact’s Barbara.

Songs of Days Past’s healing bonus is good forYaoyaobecause that’s what she does best. The damage buff is also a great effect to add to the Dendro damage. When paired with other characters' elemental reactions, this has the potential to cause massive damage.

Because Yaoyao can’t heal off-field characters, she may not be the best choice if your entire team relies on receiving a lot of healing. But if yourmain DPS relies on regaining a lot of HP(like if they have low HP, low defense, or their attacks sap their own HP), or if you really want aconsistent Dendro applicator,Yaoyao is a great choice.

Genshin Impact’s Yaoyao.

Yaoyao’s abilities scale off herHP, so that should be the main focus of your substats.

If you want your Yaoyao and Yuegui to be a little bit more offensive, also considerDendro Damage substats. Having increasedEnergy Rechargewill always be helpful, along withElemental Mastery.

Genshin Impact’s Kokomi.

Sangonomiya Kokomi

Sangonomiya Kokomiis an extremely good healer. Her main ability,Kirage’s Oath, is fairly standard for a healer: itheals the active character. Her other ability,Nereid’s Ascension, empowers her basic attacks and allows them to grant healing.

Songs of Days Past complements Kokomi in many different ways. Her primary function is to heal, so the 15 percent healing bonus is incredibly valuable. But she’ll start to really shine once the four-piece’s effect is triggered when you use it simultaneously with Nereid’s Ascension. Not only will Kokomi begin dealing a great amount of damage, but herhealing capabilitieswill also increase.

Kuki Shinobu landing on the ground after jumping back in Genshin Impact.

If you’ve ever wanted to run Kokomi on the more offensive side, consider Songs of Days Past.

All of Kokomi’s abilities scale off her HP, so having really goodHP substatsis critical. Part of Nereid’s Ascension relies on her using her normal attacks to attack enemies, so you will be relying on her to deal damage for a little bit. That’s why you should also focus on getting some solidElemental Mastery, Attack, and Hydro Damage substats.

Qiqi in Genshin Impact.

Kuki Shinobu

Kuki Shinobuis viable as both a healer and a sub DPS unit, thanks to her decent Attack stat and being able to do off-field damage. Her ability,Sanctifying Ring, deals off-field Electro damage and heals your current character, scaling off her own HP. Her other ability,Gyoei Narukami Kariyama Rite deals Electro damage to nearby opponents based off her max HP.If she has less than 50 percent of her total HP, it will last for longer.

Songs of Days Past, with its 15 percent healing bonus, benefits Shinobu more as a healer than a sub-DPS, but the damage bonus she receives from the 4-piece is no joke. If you wanted torun another healer with Shinobu,or if you’rebuilding a team that primarily relies on Shinobu for attack,it’s possible for you to run Shinobu with very little switching to other teammates.

Baizhu in Genshin Impact.

Qiqi

Qiqi’s main ability,Herald of Frost, heals your active character, deals Cryo damage to nearby enemies, and regenerates more HP if she uses her normal attacks on nearby foes. Her other ability, Adeptus Art: Preserver of Fortune, deals Cryo damage and healsQiqiscaled off how much damage she initially dealt.

Qiqi will certainly benefit from the 15 percent damage bonus, but if you wanted to use her as a sub-DPS or simply more offensively, the four-piece’s effects could be very strong on her while Herald of Frost is active, simultaneously healing her while increasing her damage.

Bennett in Genshin Impact.

For her substats, your main focus should beHP and Elemental Mastery.Qiqi’s skills can take a while to cool down, so also focus on having goodEnergy Recharge substats.

If you want to run her more offensively by attacking enemies during Herald of Frost, consider having some strongAttack and Cryo Damage Bonus substats.

Baizhu

Baizhu’s main role on any team should be of that of a healer. His ability,Universal Diagnosis, heals all party members. His other ability,Holistic Revivication, heals your active character, which also creates a small shield that absorbs Dendro.

As a Dendro Catalyst character with very little Attack,Baizhuwill also be responsible forcreating elemental reactions.Because Songs of Days Past gives your characters a damage boost, it will be useful tohave your main DPS be a Pyro, Electro, or Hydro character,so they can cause these reactions and gain a damage boost on top of their regular attacks.

Anemo could also be used if another character on your team can set up Dendro reactions, such as if they are a Catalyst user of off-field DPS.

As for substats, Baizhu’s abilities scale off his HP, so you should focus on getting thebest HP substats possible. Elemental Mastery and Energy Rechargeare also good substats to keep in mind. Because he is a Catalyst user and his ability Holistic Revivification deals Dendro damage to opponents, if you find an Artifact withDendro Damage Bonus, that might be a good one to keep.

Bennett

If you want to build Bennett asprimarily a healer, this could be the Artifact set for you.

His main skill will be Fantastic Voyage. ForFantastic Voyage, Bennett creates an area of effect where allies’ HP is healed and they gain an Attack bonus(if you have C6, it also infuses your current character’s attacks with Pyro). For this build, you want to focus primarily off Fantastic Voyage’s healing, which scales off Bennett’s maximum HP.

However, one of the main issues with Fantastic Voyage is that itcaps off at 70 percent of your current character’s HP.Though it could still be a worthwhile build if you also want its Attack bonus.

Because you will be relying on Fantastic Voyage more often, consider having some strongElemental Recharge substats. This will allow Bennet to be able to use Fantastic Voyage more often and do more healing. It recharges relatively quickly, so don’t worry about having great Elemental Recharge substats oneveryArtifact.

Aside from that, your substats should focus onAttack and HP.Fantastic Voyage’s attack bonus scales off his attack, while its healing scales off his max HP.
