Black Swan’s ability inMarvel Snapis one that will only improve as new one drops are released. Once played, her on reveal effect makes any one cost card in your hand cost zero, letting you play all sorts of things alongside a powerful six cost card on the final turn.
This makes turn five the turn where she’ll most likely be played since most one cost cards played earlier can easily be slain by Killmonger, an incredibly popular card in any meta. If you want to surprise your opponents in that final turn, Black Swan can make one hell of an impact.

8Kazar
Bumping Up Your Smallest Cards
An obvious pairing for Black Swan, Kazar gives an additional power to every one cost card you have in play. He also fits nicely on the deck’s curve since there’s little more you’d want to play on turn four, and you can place him wherever suits you best.
If you managed to draw Black Swan early on in the match, it’s best to save your one cost cards for the final turn. While playing Kazar can often signal what you’re planning to your opponent, as long as you make sure to lose priority, they won’t be able to use Killmonger against any of your cards.

7Spectrum
Making Your Ongoing Cards Grow
While Black Swan isn’t an ongoing card herself, many of the cards that work well with it are. Kazar is one great example, as well as plenty of one cost cards that you’d want to add to the deck; on the final turn, you’re able to add a surprising amount of power by playing a bunch of one drops andbuffing them with Spectrum.
Now, there aren’t enough one cost ongoing cards to justify the addition of Spectrum, which is why there are other ongoing cards on this list that benefit not only from the buff but from having an overall low cost deck. If you want to add your favorite ongoing cards to the deck, remember to keep them at or below four energy, so they fit nicely with the deck’s curve.

6Dazzler
Growing With The Crowd
Like we said, cheap ongoing cards are ideal to add to this deck, and if they benefit from having one cost cards, all the better. Dazzler’s ongoing effect gives her extra power for each filled location on your side, something easily done with so many zero cost cards.
What’s more, she’s rarely a target for Shang-Chi since her power can only get to ten if all locations are filled, and she’s buffed by Spectrum. This means that you can safely play her anywhere you’d like, knowing that you’ll fill every spot on the board by the end of the game.

5Goose
Blocking Big Cards From Being Played
Goose can often be adouble-edged swordif you’re not careful since this galactic cat blocks both players from playing cards of a higher cost than three at its location. While most of your cards can be played there without issue, other things like Kazar or Spectrum are locked out.
One of Goose’s biggest enemies is Zabu since that card reduces the cost of four cost cards by one. This means that they can now be played on the location Goose is, so don’t consider that place won when Zabu is in play.

4Ant-Man
He’s At Home In Crowded Places
Ant-Man benefits greatly from all the cards presented so far since he synergizes well with all of them. Black Swan makes him cost zero, Kazar and Spectrum can buff him, and the high density of cards means he’ll always fulfill his condition since he gains four extra power when his location is full.
Another card that benefits from all these low cost, ongoing cards is Thanos, but as you’ll notice, he isn’t present on the list. This is because the Infinity Stones, as powerful as they are, can be detrimental to a Black Swan plan since the odds of you drawing her are highly diminished, not to mention how quickly you run out of room on a deck like this.

3Howard The Duck And Quinjet
They Are Only Here For Their Ongoing Status
You might think that these two cards have no business being on this deck, and in essence, you’d be right. Since you’re playing them at the final turn, you’ll often not use any of their abilities since Howard tells you what card you’ll draw next, while Quinjet lowers the cost of cards not originally from your deck.
If new one cost cards are released that fit the theme of the deck more or that have better ongoing abilities, Howard and Quinjet should be the first cards you replace.

Yet they fit because their effects don’t matter. The only thing that matters is that they can have their cost reduced by Black Swan, and that they can be buffed by both Kazar and Spectrum. Another tempting card to add is Ebony Maw, but while it is a one cost card with an ongoing ability, that ability is too restrictive, and you can’t even play him at turn six.
2Squirrel Girl And Titania
Go Wide And Tall
Squirrel Girl is a perfect fit to cover all your bases since, while she isn’t an ongoing card herself, she can still be buffed by Kazar and help other cards reach their full potential. In a single play, she can fully activate Ant-Man, Dazzler, and even add power to Goose.
Titania fills a similar role but is riskier to play since she swaps places each time a card is played. For her power to count, you’ll have to know what your opponent is planning to play, or at least where they are less likely to have your Titania swap places.

1Valkyrie
The Equalizer
Valkyrie is the best answer you’ve got againstyour opponent’s big numbers. Since you’ll often lose priority on the final turn, you can turn all the cards your opponent has in a location to three power; while Valkyrie does the same thing to your cards, most of them have their base power as less than three already.
If you’re able to play both Valkyrie or Spectrum, it can get tricky to know which one can lead you to victory. Depending on how the game plays out, Spectrum is usually best for broad power plays, while Valkyrie can turn the tide on a seemingly lost location.
