Baldur’s Gate 3is split into several maps across different acts and each is obscured by fog of war, so you might not uncover everything on your adventure. But after weeks of work, one fan has stitched together all of the maps in full to show exactly how the world connects.

The right side, labelled “Wilderness”, is where our adventure begins. It’s herethe Nautiloid ship crashes, scrambling survivors along the beach, and where we decide to help or lay siege to the Emerald Grove.

The ENTIRE Baldur’s Gate 3 map combined into one traditional-styled game map. This took me a lot of effort, but I am gonna print it as a poster and hang it on my wall, besides my other physical maps.

Above, we see the Underdark. While it doesn’t connect directly to Act 2, we can see the underground waters we travel to reach the Grymforge and, by extension, Moonrise Towers. Further south is the mountain pass and githyanki creche, another path that leads to the Shadow-Cursed Lands.

The road to Act 3 is much more straightforward. From the Shadow-Cursed Lands, there’s a small path leading directly into Wrym’s Crossing. This road is longer in-universe, but we skip that entire trek at camp and don’t get to see just how far it stretches. Regardless, to fit everything onto one map, it has been kept short.

Act 3 is likewise simpler in structure. From the crossing, the map leads directly into the Lower City and all of its densely packed mini zones. The House of Hope and jungle have been omitted, however, on account of them being in another plane of existence and continent respectively.

Along the way, a lot of the smaller, optional areas have been included such as the Zhentarim Hideout, Whispering Depths, and Overgrown Tunnel.

It’s not a perfect 1:1 rendition, but many fans are giving pointers and offering to rip HD maps from the game files for a crisper and more accurate image. One such niggle with the design is that the Gauntlet of Shar and Grymforge are not directly connected, even though you can see one from the other in-game.

Regardless of the hiccups in design, many are asking for their own copies to be printed so they can hang them up, commemorating their many adventures fighting the Absolute.
