Five months later, all of the sets Lego has shown off are finally available to buy.
The five sets pull from locations Animal Crossing players will be very familiar with. Celebrate Julian’s Birthday, visit Nook’s Cranny, or embark on a boat tour with Kapp’n. Or, if you’re a big Animal Crossing fan and you’ve got the means to do so, buy all five Lego sets and make a physical version of your Animal Crossing island out of Lego.
In-game locations turned into Lego are all well and good, but as is often the case when it comes to officially licensed sets, the main event is the Minifigures. Some of the most famous Animal Crossing characters are among the first from the series to be immortalized in Lego. Along with the characters mentioned above in the set names are Rosie, Bunnie, and of course, Isabelle. Animal Crossing’s iconic pup can now add Lego Minifigure to her CV, joining appearances in Mario Kart andSuper Smash Bros.
Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities Animal Crossing Lego Set
One of five sets kicking off Lego’s Animal Crossing collection, Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities is made up of 164 pieces and includes a Bunnie Minifigure you may adventure with.
The five sets are all priced differently which hopefully means there’s something for everyone, regardless of how much you have or are willing to spend on the new range. Starting at $19.99 for Bunnie’s Outdoor Activities, up to$74.99 for Nook’s Cranny and Rosie’s House. That’s one set including two buildings, with accompanying Minifigures, as opposed to two sets both priced at $74.99.
Isabelle’s House Visit Animal Crossing Lego Set
One of the very first Animal Crossing Lego sets, a toy brick recreation of Isabelle’s house. This set comes with Isabelle and Fauna mini-figures, a garden for the characters to tend, and is made up of 389 pieces.
If the Animal Crossing Lego sets sell well enough, and the success of Lego’s Mario collection combined with New Horizons sales on Switch suggests they will, this may well be the beginning of a growing Animal Crossing collection. The Nintendo Lego hits will almost certainly keep on coming either way withthe first-ever Zelda setrumored to be here before the end of 2024. A Great Deku Tree, which has seemingly been in the works for a while, could be here as soon as September.
