Collaboration events are nothing new inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.The first season had multiple events that featured The Boys characters and a unique Kill Confirmed game type. For MW3’s second season, Sledgehammer has added a week-long event that brings a few Walking Dead characters into the Call of Duty scene.
While this event doesn’t have a new game mode, fans of The Walking Dead can earn some unique cosmetics themed around the TV show by simply earning XP. If you need boosters to help level your weapons or the battle pass, this event also has a few boosters you’re able to earn just by playing.
The Walking Dead: Fear The Living is a short MW3 event that runs fromFebruary 28 to March 6.Unlike the previous The Boys collaboration event, this Walking Dead event doesn’t have any unique game modes or gameplay alternations to speak of. Simply put,this event adds some new cosmetics you can earn by simply playing MW3.Multiplayer, MWZ, and Warzone players can all participate.
Similar to some of MW3’s past events last season, Fear the Living’s rewards are earned through an XP track.Any XP you earnduring this event will unlock new cosmetics tied to the Fear the Living event.you may view these cosmetic rewards in the Challenges tab under “The Walking Dead: Fear The Living” event card. Earn every reward in this event, and you’ll unlock an exclusive weapon camo.
Featured Operator
Completing MW3 matches with a specific Operator skin will award an additional 2,500 XP towards this event’s reward track. This bonus is static and doesn’t change with game length.
This event’s featured Operator skin is Michonne, available from her respective Tracer Pack bundle. This bundle costs 2,400 CoD Points.
All Event Rewards
This event hasten unique rewardsthat players can earn. The tenth reward is theBared and Dangerousweapon camo, a non-animated skin that gives your weapons a barbed wire texture. All rewards can be unlocked by earning XP in any MW3 playlist, including Multiplayer,MWZ, and Warzone. If you want to unlock these items quickly, consider using XP Boosters.
