InBanishers: Ghosts Of New Eden, there’s a plethora of points of interest waiting to be discovered as you explore New Eden. The map is brimming with new locations to uncover, haunting cases to solve, and new gear to acquire. Typically, this new gear is accessible from either locked chests or cursed chests, each requiring a specific method to unlock.
For locked chests, you can unlock them after finding the corresponding key. However, for cursed chests, once you gain the ability to unlock them during the main story, you’ll need to find three items scattered usually in the vicinity of the chest’s location.
The Soldier Location #1
From theOld Marsh Encampment shelter, leave the shelter anddescend to the area below. Head to thebuilding on the left, andgo behind it.
You’ll notice a small space in the wall where you canshoot the wooden barrier, allowing you to enter.
Once you’ve destroyed the barrier,circle around to the entrance. Inside, you’ll discoverthe first Soldier itemrequired for the cursed chest.
The Soldier Location #2
From that house, continue forward anddescend until you reach a tree where you can vault. In the next area,stick to the left sideand follow the path until you reach the open area below.
Once there,look for a small entrance between the wooden buildings to the right.
It’s not the path blocked by a tree, butthe next one.
There, you’ll findthe second Soldieritem you need.
The Soldier Location #3
From the previous location,turn around, andyou’ll see a house in front of you. Climb up to it, thengo to the other side of the house.
Once you’re on the other side,look for a small entrance to the rightwhere you can enter.
Inside,break through the wooden barrier to the room on your right. There, you’ll findthe last Soldier itemyou need for the Cursed chest.
Once you’ve collected all three items, head to the location of the Cursed chest.Using the three items you’ve collected, perform the Unbounding ritual. After that, you’ll be able to obtain your new equipment from the chest.
