As you delve into the story ofBanishers: Ghosts Of New Eden, you’ll uncover more about the Nightmare and the curse that has befallen New Eden. With various regions to explore and numerous characters to encounter along the journey, you’ll stumble upon cursed chests while exploring the map. These chests are valuable because they grant you new equipment for both Red and Antea.
Initially, unlocking these cursed chests may seem unclear, but the method involves finding three different items. These items are used to perform a ritual on the chests, allowing you to claim your reward.
The Shepherd Location #1
In order to find the first Shepherd item,start at the cursed chest location. Exit the barn andtake the main road to the right. Before you reach the path leading up, you need toturn left and go down.
A little further down the road,on the left side, you’ll seea corpse next to a tree. There, you’ll find an item glowing purple; that’s yourfirst Shepherd item.
The Shepherd Location #2
Returning to the cursed chest location and after exiting the barn, this time around,you want to head left.
Continue along this pathuntil you come across anotherpurple item near a broken wooden carriage. Pick it up to collect yoursecond Shepherd item.
The Shepherd Location #3
From this last location,backtrack a little bit, thenturn rightandfollow this path all the way to its end. Eventually, you’ll reach an area where there’s a chest.To the right side of this chest, you’ll find yourlast Shepherd item.
Now that you’ve collected all three items, head back to the location of the cursed chest. Use the three Shepherd items you’ve collected toperform the Unbounding ritual. After that, you’ll be able to unlock the chest and obtain your new equipment.
