As you progress throughBanishers: Ghosts Of New Eden, you’ll encounter various chests containing resources or currency as you explore the map. However, you’ll also come across locked chests that require specific keys or items to unlock.
When it comes to Cursed Chests in the game, unlocking them involves finding three scattered items in the area. Once you’ve gathered these items, you’ll perform a ritual that enables you to unlock the chest and obtain a new equipment item. The Miller cursed chest follows this pattern, requiring you to locate the necessary items before performing the unlocking ritual.
The Miller Location #1
From the location of the cursed chest, navigate through the rocks until you encountera climbable wall on your left. Ascend the wall to reachan area that is warded.
To dispel the ward,look to your right and you’ll find it positioned between some wooden barriers. Shoot the ward to enable the use of Antea.
With Antea now available,switch to heranduse the Outburst Manifestation on the blocked entrance to your right, obstructed by rocks. This action will clear the path, allowing you to accessthe first Milleritem required to unlock the chest.
The Miller Location #2
From the previous location,backtrack and then take a right turn. Shortly after,make another right to ascend the hill.
Once you reach a jumping spot,leap to the other sideandcontinue walking for a few stepsuntil you spotthe second Miller item to your right.
The Miller Location #3
To find the last Miller item, you’ll need todrop down from the previous locationusing the shortcut you can create bythrowing a rope from the wooden platform. Then,head to the leftand progress ahead,following the path leading downward to the left side.
Shortly afterward, you’ll encountera large tree chunk blocking the way to your left.Switch to Antea and utilize her Outburst Manifestationto clear the obstruction. Once you’ve cleared the path, you’ll come acrossa corpse containing the final Miller item.
After collecting all three items, make your way to the location of the Cursed chest.Use the three items you’ve collected to perform the Unbounding ritual. Once completed, you’ll be able to obtain your new equipment from the chest.
