Cursed Chests inBanishers: Ghosts Of New Edenpresent a unique type of quest. Unlike traditional chests where you simply locate a key, these chests require you to learn a ritual as part of the story to unlock them. Once you’ve acquired this ability, you’ll need to find three specific items, usually located near the chest, to perform the ritual.
Each region in the game, including Mount Pleasant, has its own set of cursed chests. While exploring Mount Pleasant, you’ll encounter multiple cursed chests, including one that require you to find three items known as the Climber.
The Climber Location #1
The first Climber is the easiest to find since it’s located just near the chest. Starting from the chest locationin the Mount Pleasant region, head out of the cave andturn left.
There is a house located nearby, and you should continue past it; you’ll findsome buckets with a purple item located to the left. Pick up this item to acquirethe first Climberitem you need to unlock the cursed chest.
The Climber Location #2
Now from the first Climber location,keep following the main path aheaduntil you reacha point where you need to drop down.
Once you drop down,look towards your rightand you will be able to spotthe second Climberitem.
The Climber Location #3
Backtrack to the chest locationand nearby, you’ll spota cave entrance. Head inside andfollow the path to the right side.
Keep going along the right sideuntil you reach the end, where you’ll find a corpse with another purple item, this isthe last Climberitem you need.
With all three Climber items in your possession, exit the cave and make your way to the cursed chest. There,perform the Unbounding ritualto unlock it and acquire your new equipment.
