Summary
Persona 3 Reloadis the long-awaited remake of the original Persona 3 and puts a 3D coat of paint on the fan-favorite game. With one of the darkest stories in the series and a lot to live up to as a remake, P3R tells a poignant tale of coming to terms with mortality.
You’ll step into the shoes of the leader of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad – SEES, for short – as he and a group of friends more mixed than any other Persona game tackle the Dark Hour. Here’s a look at who plays each character in Persona 3 Reload.
Updated on June 16, 2025:Now that Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis -The Answer- has launched, adding the content from Persona 3 FES to the base game for P3R to bring the story to a concrete close, we’re back to update our list of the Persona 3 Reload cast to include not only Metis for the DLC, but more content for each character, too.
Makoto Yuki: Aleks Le
And Pharos, And Ryoji, And Nyx, And Orpheus
Although your protagonist in Persona games may not be the chattiest of the group, you’ll definitely hear him quite a bit during Persona 3 Reload. Not only that, but with Ryoji Mochizuki playing such a pivotal role in the game’s story, you’ll practically be hanging on to his every word by the time you finally meet.
Aleks Le has been voice acting for quite some time, with his earliest credits in 2003. Since then, his credits list has grown to well over 100, showcasing his work in anime and games. Some of his most notable credits include his work in Octopath Traveler 2, Cassette Beasts, and, most recently, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
Yukari Takeba: Heather Gonzalez
Be Kind To Your Healer
While she’s initially apprehensive of your protagonist, Yukari Takeba warms up to you before long, joining you not only in class at Gekkoukan High, but in Tartarus as your party’s most apt healer. Having joined SEES in search of answers to what happened to her father a decade before, Yukari bit off a lot more than she asked for with the Full Moon operations ahead.
Heather Gonzalez voices Yukari in P3R, and she’s no stranger to braving an impossible fight with her characters, having voiced Mineru in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. She’s also got credits dating back to 2010 that cover everything from Pokemon to Fire Emblem to Honkai Star Rail.
Mitsuru Kirijo: Allegra Clark
In English And In French
You’ll hear from Mitsuru quite often in the first several weeks of Persona 3 Reload, since she begins the game as your navigator in Tartarus before joining the frontline battle party once someone with better nav skills comes aboard. Fierce and fearless, Mitsuru’s Ice magic is a perfect match for what a cool lady she is herself.
And speaking of cool, Allegra Clark’s credits list is one of the more varied in our list. This trilingual voice actress had taken on roles of all kinds in recent years, dabbling in everything from big-name games like Genshin Impact, to major-league anime titles like Jujutsu Kaisen, and even a singing-based spot in Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical.
Junpei Iori: Zeno Robinson
“Perfecto.”
Thankfully Persona 3 Reload toned down the character’s infamous perverted commentary, meaning Junpei Iori is your goofy, lovable powerhouse of a teammate. He’s an ace in battle through Tartarus with his strength and Fire magic, but where he shines the most in P3R might just be in his story with Strega member, Chidori Yoshino.
With just shy of 200 credits on his IMDB page, Zeno Robinson was an obvious choice for Junpei, with his wealth of experience voicing characters of that ilk. Examples of the affably brave characters he plays include Akira from Zom 100, Hawks from My Hero Academia, and even Goh in Pokemon.
Akihiko Sanada: Alejandro Saab
Shockingly Powerful, Even More Popular
If you love the smooth confidence of Akihiko Sanada, Gekkoukan High’s record-setting boxing champ whose might translates mighty well to Tartarus, get in line – he’s got quite the fan club. Bringing sheer power in both Strength stats and Electric magic, Akihiko makes for a staple teammate as one of the original members of SEES.
The voice actor with the most IMDB credits on the Persona 3 Reload voice actors list, Alejandro Saab has enjoyed a prolific career. With a pretty even split between games and anime, you’ll hear him in titles like Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, My Hero Academia, Pokemon, and more.
Fuuka Yamagishi: Suzie Yeung
And You’ll Hear Her A Lot
Bullied stranger at school turned essential part of your Tartarus expeditions, Fuuka Yamagishi is the soft-spoken creative girl who awakens to her Persona after being locked in Tartarus by her bullies. Now with an SP meter to keep in mind and with new skills to unlock as you level her up, Fuuka feels more like a teammate than ever before.
Starring as Makima in the recent smash-hit, Chainsaw Man, Suzie Yeung has an impressive resume. Having voiced characters in games like Honkai: Star Rail, Demon Slayer, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and Digimon Adventure, Yeung was primed to be our navigator through Tartarus.
Ken Amada: Justine Lee
Don’t Underestimate The Kid!
The team is initially apprehensive when introduced to elementary school child Ken Amada, unsure how a child could be of help to them on such a dangerous mission, but once he awakens to his Persona and joins the team on the trek through Tartarus, Ken proves a pivotal member of SEES. And sometimes, after he learns to rein in his emotions, it can seem like he’s the most mature member.
Though you may not know what Justine Lee looks like, since they act under an adorable cartoon public persona (get it?), in addition to playing Ken in P3R, they’ve been enjoying a recent wave of roles in Triple-A titles Pokemon, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and Fire Emblem.
Shinjiro Aragaki: Justice Slocum
So Much Angst
Shinjiro Aragaki’s story in Persona 3 Reload is among the saddest in the entire Persona franchise, but we won’t give you any spoilers here. An old friend of Akihiko’s who tepidly joins the team as you’re nearing the end of the Full Moon operations, Shinjiro is a heavy hitter in battle whose role in P3R hits the heart even harder.
The newest name in the Persona 3 Reload cast list is certainly one to watch as his resume grows, especially after a performance as powerful as Shinjiro. Justice Slocum is an up-and-coming voice actor with credits spread widely across beloved series like Street Fighter, Lost Judgement, and Yakuza/Like a Dragon.
Aigis: Dawn M. Bennett
Anti-Shadow Weapon Tied To Your Protagonist
Players new to Persona 3’s story who are entering the fray may giggle or be surprised to learn that you have a fully robotic teammate in SEES (or not – thisisPersona we’re talking about, after all), but Aigis is tied intricately into the plot of Persona 3 Reload in far more ways than just as one of your party members.
When their very first IMDB credit is from World of Warcraft, you know you’ve found a voice actor worth their salt, and Dawn M. Bennett knocks it out of the park in P3R. With other game work like Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Honkai: Star Rail, and animation voice acting credits in everything from My Hero Academia to RoosterTeeth’s RWBY, Bennett’s versatility is where she shines.
