As if you didn’t already have enough to deal with inPersona 3 Reload, between daily life and trying to prepare for the coming Full Moons, Elizabeth will call you to the Velvet Room in May to let you know that people have begun to go missing within Tartarus.
These folks can hear the voices of the Shadows summoning them, but don’t have Personas and will be killed by the Shadows if you don’t rescue them before the next Full Moon after they wander in. But don’t just do it out of kindness – they reward you handsomely after the rescue.

Updated on Jun 30, 2025:Now that we’ve found everyone inside Tartarus, we’re back to give our Persona 3 Reload Missing Persons location guide a final coat of paint with all the info on where to find each P3R Missing Persons.
By the nature of Missing Persons deadlines coinciding with Full Moon operations, this guide contains spoilers for Persona 3 Reload.

Civilians Go Missing In Tartarus
Not long into Persona 3 Reload - shortly after your second Full Moon boss battle against Emperor and Empress -Elizabeth callsyour protagonist andsummons him to the Velvet Room.
The first time this happens is on6/18, not long after Fuuka formally begins navigating for the team.

When you head to the Velvet Room, Elizabeth tells you thatsomeone has gone missing someplaceinside of Tartarus. And though this might be the first time this happens in P3R, with Apathy Syndrome growing more prevalent, it certainly won’t be the last.
This kicks off a game-long series of additional objectives as you progress through Tartarus - only you and SEES are capable offinding and rescuing the Missing inside of Tartarus.

From then on, you’ll get afew calls each lunar cyclethat someone is missing in Tartarus, but you may alsocheck the bulletin board outsidethe Police Stationat Paulownia Mall for information, too.Elizabeth can give you a range of floors to check, too, so you’re not wandering aimlessly through Tartarus.
There’s typically one call shortly after the Full Moon boss battle and a second closer to the next Full Moon, which all but forces you to go to Tartarus more than once per lunar cycle if you weren’t already.

However, the caveat with this is thatyou only have until the next Full Moonto rescue the Missing Persons for that lunar cycle. Too long in Tartarus without a Persona is enough to be dangerous, especially on the Full Moon when the Shadows grow stronger.
Anyone not rescued before the next Full Moon will beforever lost, so if you intend to save the Missing in P3R, be sure to prioritize the mission before your next Full Moon operation.
Two of your social linksgo missing, so be sure to rescue them before their deadline or you’ll be locked out of their social link progression for the rest of the game, freezing it on the rank it’s at when they vanish.

It’shelpful if you haven’t fully searched the floorand would like to continue exploring, especially if you’rebetween teleportersand haven’t located the floor with the next one yet anddon’t want to lose several floors of progress through Tartarus, if you’re finding the Missing on your first climb through a new block.
