Materia plays a crucial role in combat, granting your characters new abilities and skills that can give you the upper hand in battles. Additionally, some materia can enhance your stats. One such materia available in the game is the Magnify materia, but you won’t acquire it until the mid-game.
How To Get The Magnify Materia
From Cait Sith
As you progress through the main story, you’ll eventuallyarrive at the Gold Saucer in Chapter 8, where you’ll encounter a familiar face,Cait Sith. This character will assist you in navigating through the area.After completing this chapter, without delving into spoilers,Cait Sith will join your party as a playable character.
Cait Sith comes equipped with their own equipment and materia. Among his materia,you’ll find the Magnify Materia.
It’s important to note thatthis materia isn’t exclusive to Sith, as you can unequip it from him and equip it to any other character in your party.
From Victim Of Circumstance Side Quest
Much later in the game, when youreach chapter 12, you’ll get abunch of new quests in all the regions you’ve previously explored.
If youreturn to Cosmo Canyon and check the Noticeboard, you caninitiate a quest called Victim Of Circumstance, where you’ll need to help Zhijie, who is stranded in the desert. The quest itself is relatively short and easy to complete. As a reward for your efforts,you’ll receive the Magnify Materia.
