Each debilitation has a cure that can be accessed by using the associated medicine for each debilitation.

Blighted

Blighted is essentially the"poisoned" status effect of Dragon’s Dogma 2, afflicting the target with small ticks of damage over time (DoT) that wear down your health.

While Blighted is dangerous enough as it is, allow this debilitation to gountreated while continuing to take further attacks, and you’ll be afflicted with an evenmore dangerous ailment: Fulminant Poison.

Fulminant Poison

Fulminant Poison is the more advanced form of the Blighted debilitation, which willdeal a massive amount of damageto your health.

In addition to the negative effects on your current health, Fulminant Poison also greatly accelerates the accumulation of theloss gauge, lowering the maximum HPyou have available.

Remove this status condition ASAP and rest at a camp, home, or inn to recover thedamage to your loss gauge.

Caught Fire

Caught Fire is one of the most straightforward debilitations In Dragon’s Dogma 2, as you are set alight with a fire attack andtake damage over time as you’re burning.

Unlike many other debilitations in Dragon’s Dogma 2, caught fire can be cured by either aQuenching Syrupcurative or running into your nearest body ofwater. Logic prevails and offers an additional method to cure this ailment.

Dragonsplague (Pawn-only)

The Dragonsplague is a unique debilitation that ispassed directly from pawn to pawn. Pawns will not even be aware that they have contracted the illness until it is too late.

The onlytwo methods to get rid of Dragonsplagueare becoming forfeit (dying) orinfectinganother pawn with the Dragonsplague, essentially transferring it.

Your pawn will begin to exhibit strange, resistantbehaviorsand may even attack friendlies.

Check if your pawn has red eyes, as this is a sign ofDragonsplague.

Drenched

Drenchedis both a debilitation itself and the cure to another debilitation (caught fire).

This debilitation doesn’t damage you butalters the effects that the following elemental attacks will haveon you.

Rain will drench you naturally, so be careful when jumping straight into battle during a rain storm, as you’ll be muchweaker to ice and lightning attacks.

Frostbite

Frostbite is the result of continued ice attacks, which willslowyou as they hit, until your body eventually goescompletely numb from the cold.

This is easily one of the most dangerous debilitations in Dragon’s Dogma 2, as there’snothing you can do to defend yourselfwhile your body goes numb, so you’ll need aWarming Salveon hand to keep you in the fight.

Ice-Bound

Ice-Boundis the more extreme version of Frostbite.

Your body becomes completelyfrozensolid aftersuccessive ice attacks hit you, or when you’re hit with ice attacks whileDrenched.

This condition is superb to use against enemies, as you’ll have free hits at your foes while they thaw out.

Petrification

Petrification is the more extreme version of Ice-Bound, asyou cannot thaw out of being petrified.

Avoid enduring too many petrification attacks from a Medusa, or you will quickly be frozen solid in place, stuck for eternity.

You must heal Petrification with aMalleating Elixirquickly, or else you and your pawns will be petrified.

AnArisencan becuredwith aWakestonewhen they are fully Petrified, whilea pawn is forfeit, and cannot be saved.

Silence

Silence is a very literal debilitation, asthe afflicted target cannot speakor perform any actions involving speech, including incanting a spell.

Pawns can be afflicted by this debilitation as well, so be wary of enemies with silencing spells that can take your Mages or Sorcerers out of the equation.

Sleep

Sleep is an annoying debilitation that is often inflicted by harpies.

Exposure to enough sleep magick will leave theArisen or their pawns unable to move – fast asleepon the ground where they stood.

While aWaking Powderwill solve this problem instantly, you can also choose toshake your pawns awakeif they’ve fallen asleep, or wait for one of your pawns to do the same for you.

Tarred

Tarred is another debilitation that does not inflict damage, but instead coats you with oil.

You’ll be knocked down more easily (slipping) when coated in oil and will beTorchedif you’re hit by a fire attack.

Torched

Torched is a much more devastating version of caught fire, as you’re completely engulfed in flames and take massive damage.

you may be Torched by being lit on fire, then Tarred, or first being Tarred, then enduring a fire attack.

However it afflicts you, it’s nothing a quick dive in some water can’t fix.

Unconscious

The final debilitation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 isUnconscious, which is the result ofbeing struck by lightning attacks.

You will be temporarily dazed and unable to move very much, but unlike a similar debilitation like Sleep, Unconscious can linger on for quite a while without the proper treatment.

Keep a hefty supply of healing curatives in your pack to deal with the worst debilitations in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
