Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a limited-time event themed around mythical creatures. For the next two weeks, players can complete a series of challenges in Multiplayer or Zombies to earn exclusive calling cards, emblems, and a unique weapon blueprint. No camos are up for grabs this time.
Players familiar with previous MW3 holiday events should know what to expect, although some of this event’s challenges are far more demanding than usual. This guide will explain what the Cryptid Bootcamp event is, how to complete all 16 challenges, and showcase every reward you’re able to earn during this short event.
What Is The Cryptid Bootcamp Event?
Cryptid Bootcamp is an event for Modern Warfare 3’s Multiplayer and MWZ modes, lasting from February 14 to February 28.This event adds a series of challenges to Multiplayer and Zombies that, when completed, unlock exclusive cosmetics. Most of this event’s cosmetics are weapon stickers and calling cards, butcompleting eight challenges will unlock an exclusive weapon camo and weapon blueprint for the Sidewinder.
Unlike theLunar New Year event, this event doesnottrack XP gains in any way. All rewards from Cryptid Bootcamp are earned through in-game challenges.
Event Challenges And Rewards
There are16 challengestied to the Cryptid Bootcamp event, evenly divided between Multiplayer and Zombies.Each cosmetic is tied to a Multiplayer and MWZ challenge. Completing either challenge will unlock a cosmetic; you don’t need to finish both challenges. The eighth challenge in this event awards theLooking At Youweapon camo.

Get 10 special zombie critical kills with snipers.
Prophetic Squish – Charm
Get 40 kills with the Tyr while using the JAK Beholder Kit, the Threat Identification System perk, and Stalker Boots perk.
Destroy 3 Harvester Orbs.
Sass-Squashed – Calling Card
Get two kills with a shotgun or melee weapon in one life 15 times.
Destroy 20 pieces of equipment or killstreaks with the Stormender.
Get 75 kills while using Covert Sneakers and Blacklight Flashlight.
