How To Build A Plot

The first step to farming is tobuild a plot. You can buildas many as you like, and each one can supportup to nine separate plants. Each plot requires the following materials to make:

Open the constructs menuand place the plots around your Homestead. Build them with the materials and get ready toplant seeds with the Seed Shooter. With additional upgrades, the Seed Shooter can lock on to different plots and plant numerous seeds at one time!

Where To Get Seeds

In Lightyear Frontier, there aretwo ways to get seeds: gathering them or buying them. When youuse the Vacuum Harvesteron flora in the wild, like Polyberry or Caroot plants, there’sa chance you’ll get seedsfor those plants, too!

You can alsopurchase seeds from Lola. She sellsall seeds that you’ve discovered, and she sells wheat seeds! The price fluctuates daily, so make sure tosave your money until the seeds you need are on sale.

When you plant seeds in your plot, there’s a chance you’llget seeds backwhen harvesting!

How To Farm Crops

To be a successful farmer, you’ll need towater your crops every day. Some crops takemore time than others to grow, but no more than a few days.

When it rains, you won’t have to water your crops that morning!

Use the Vacuum Harvesterto harvest your crops when they’re ready. You can thenplant new ones immediately. keeping this steady stream of crops will help you build a steady supply of materials.

Each crop can beused to make oil, which is used in various constructs and upgrades. Becoming the best farmer you can be requires a vast number of materials, and farming is the best way to reach that goal.
