Bastorias is likely to be the fourth region you explore inUnicorn Overlord.It is likely that, at this point, you will know the drill when it comes to the carved of stone quest. Nonetheless, we’re happy to walk you through the quest in its entirety.
First things first, we’ll help you locate the faded journal. Once we’ve shown you where the journal is, we’ll help you decipher the riddle, which is a little trickier this time, as the riddle is, well, a little more riddle-like. From here, we’ll show you where each carving is and help you get the precious treasure waiting for you at the end of this quest.
All Bastorias Carving Locations
Before you’re able to do anything, you’ll need to locate theFaded Journal 2. Unfortunately, this won’t be possible until you have completed theA Fleeting Dreamquest. This is the final main quest you’ll complete in Bastorias. Once you have completed that quest, head toDevolpis Harbor. From here, head south, and you will find some ruins -the journal will be waiting for you inside of them.
The Faded Journal will tell you that you need to “pursue the beasts from small to large. This means you will need to visit theRatcarving first, then theEaglecarving, after that, theWolfcarving, and finally, theBearcarving.
Just like with the other Carved of Stone quests, you will need to start over if you interact with these carvings out of order.
The location for each carving is detailed in the table below…
RatCarving
Head toZagavona Harbor. From here, take the ship to the “secluded shore”.
This carving can only be obtained after finishingThe Battle for Zagavona.You will also need to restore the harbor through the delivery tab so that you can use the ship.
EagleCarving
Go toGorazmak Town. Now, head south and pass through the fortress. The Eagle Carving is on this shore.
The Wolf Carving is just north ofLornivisch Harbor.
BearCarving
Go to theAncient City of Bastoritza.From here, board the ship, and you will be taken to another secluded shore. Once here, head south, and you will find the bear carving in a forested area.
Since this is another area you may only reach by boat,you will need to rebuild Bastoritza before you can reach the bear carving.
After activating the four carvings in order, you will obtain theKingsbow Bastorik. This bow boasts a top-of-the-line physical attack stat and will increase all your base stats by five points.
