Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthhas more minigames than the last decade of RPGs combined, but one of the standouts is undoubtedly Queen’s Blood. It’s become so popular that Square Enix hashinted at the possibility of future expansionssurrounding the card game, and a large part of its popularity is down to how in-depth and how many strategies you can try out to try and beat the game’s many opponents and puzzles.
However, if you’re not one for cute strategies and want pure power, then YouTuber Trueblade Seeker claims to have invented the strongest deck you can possibly create. In a recent video uploaded to their YouTube channel, they show off their custom-made “Tonberry Chicken Deck”, which really showcases the power of sacrificing your own cards for the greater good.
It’s also a surprisingly simple strategy too, though you may need a couple of resets to get the cards you need to begin the match. To start with, you’ll need to place two Skeeskees, one in both the top left and bottom left of the board, and then stick a Tonberry King between them, all the while making sure your opponent doesn’t get too close. All of these cards are powered up when an ally card is destroyed, which is where the Mindflayer comes in.
Placing a Mindflayer card in front of the Tonberry King gives you a large field in which cards with just one power will automatically die when placed. If you haven’t guessed where this is going, the rest of Trueblade Seeker’s deck is filled with cards with one power, some of which summon other cards when placed. Your aim is to place these cards in the killzones while penning your opponent into their side of the board, all the while boosting your three cards at the back the entire time.
you may also throw another Tonberry King in front of the Mindflayer if you really want to destroy your opponent, which will eventually lead you to getting a score of well over 100 counters. In the video above, Trueblade Seeker gets a score of 118, but admits that they added a Gi Nattak to their deck for an even higher score. If you don’t have the Gi Nattak card, it sacrifices your highest power card and transfers the power to the cards above and below it.
Using this strategy, Trueblade Seeker has now managed to rack up a score of 163, which is easily enough to crush even the highest skilled Queen’s Blood players in the game. It’s a little overkill, but when you’reup against a player like Chadleyand want to grind your opponent into the dirt, you can’t get a much more comprehensive beating.
