InDeep Rock Galatic, you play as the disposable worker of a mining company, tasked with exploring dangerous planets while collecting ore to make your bosses richer. Deep Rock Galatic has a great sense of humor regarding the absurdity of its concept, not unlike Helldivers 2, in which you play as a disposable soldier trapped in a senseless intergalactic war.
Each character in Deep Rock Galatic has a specific weapon and utility tool that helps you explore the procedurally-generated levels, finding treasures to mine and killing the insect-like aliens that infest the place. Deep Rock Galatic offers the perfect mix of strategic goals and chaotic action that can scratch your Helldivers 2 itch.
