Nightingalewas poised to become one of the more interesting and unique survival games released in 2024, but two weeks from launch, it’s not doing great. User reviews on Steam are currently sitting at Mixed, and the game’s player base has been slowly dwindling ever since launch, with a peak player count of a little over 10,000 compared to the game’s all-time peak of just over 47,000 it racked up at launch a couple of weeks ago....

FromSoftware has long been inspired by Berserk, from Demon’s Souls' skeletons to Dark Souls' Artorias.Elden Ringis no different, even if the foundation was laid by Game of Thrones writer George R. R. Martin. Radahn’s design is incredibly reminiscent of The Supreme King Gaiseric, the Erdtree that looms over us on our travels is very similar to the World Spiral Tree, and Malenia looks an awful lot like Farnese. So, it’s no surprise that eventhe Shadow of the Erdtree trailerhas a couple of Berserk easter eggs....

A bunch ofFortnitecollabs have seemingly been leaked, includingOne Piece,Final Fantasy 7, andSpider-Man. If true, we might start seeing these crossovers very soon, as it seems the Final Fantasy characters would be added to celebrate the launch ofFinal Fantasy 7Rebirth later this month. This comes from the rumour mill section of the Xbox Era podcast, so take it with a pinch of salt. However, one of the hosts says they were given the list of collabs by one of their sources, and was at least confident enough in this source to share the news with viewers....

One Piecefans will almost definitely disagree with me, but the anime is bigger right now than it has ever been before, and it has the live actionNetflixadaptation to thank for that, at least in part. Whether you liked what Netflix did with its take on One Piece or not, you have to appreciate the additional attention its anime has received off the back of its success. More popularity also means more crossovers, including a collaboration with Puma that will bring four pairs of One Piece sneakers to its stores starting this weekend....

Yesterday,Nintendo revealed Pokemon Legends: Z-A, taking us back to the Kalos region from X & Y. WhileArceuswas set in Sinnoh’s past before it was even called Sinnoh, fans can’t figure out when the sequel takes place. “This is an urban REdevelopment plan,” Bulbagarden tweeted, attaching photos of the holographic blueprints of the city. “Is Pokemon Legends Z-A set in the future? The futuristic Z and the naturalistic A makes us wonder if we should expect backwards time travel/regression themes?...

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2developers have taken to the stage atGDC, shedding some light on their work. This includes an interesting tidbit about the development of the Sandman boss, and how challenging it was to balance the fight in the villain’s favour. This discussion comes from a talk about the animation work that went into Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, attended by TheGamer’sEric Switzer. Specifically discussing the Sandman fight, associate animation director atInsomniac, Stephen Camardella, says that Spider-Man is just too fast for the sluggish Sandman to pose any real threat, something they had to address in their animation work....

Spider-Man 2has so many suits to unlock for Peter and Miles, it’s only natural you’ll love a few and dislike others. However, there was one suit in the sequel that the player base collectively hated, and it was a pretty important one. Mild spoilers for Spider-Man 2 ahead if you haven’t finished its story. Miles swings in wearing his Evolved suit towards the end of the game, and people didn’t like it....
