Summary Storytelling in theLike a Dragongames is defined by its gusto. Tight scripting isn’t really on the docket, and their twisting, winding plotlines tend to completely fall to pieces by the time you hit the final act - though Infinite Wealth deserves kudos for remaining largely coherent throughout. However, that isn’t a criticism. I love the Like a Dragon games as they are: mess and all. For all the absurdity of the primary plotlines of each title, the characters are compelling....

Another movie, another generation of moviegoers misunderstanding the plot. From Starship Troopers, to Fight Club, to American Psycho, audiences have consistently shown that they don’t care to look past the most surface-level details of the art they consume. Take away the means of interaction, and you’ve just got a video, no game....

Summary Helldivers 2players have been getting reinforcements in the fight against the Automatons and Terminids for quite a while now, but we’ve not really had anything of real substance since mechs dropped at the start of March, andthey’re pretty fragile at the best of time. Helldivers have been itching for firepower, andthe recent leaks surrounding APCsare making fans antsy. Well, I’m here with yet another leak to add to the problem, as it appears a new type of APC called a “Colony Rover” has been discovered in the game’s files....

Helldivers 2has been going pretty strong since launch, as developer Arrowhead Game Studios has been adding interesting mechanics such as mechs and meteor storms to keep things fresh. They’re also guilty of sneakily adding new threats to Super Earth not mentioned in patch notes, such asa new variant of flying Terminidthat players have been running into this week, though Arrowhead’s own Johan Pilestedt isplaying the fool for now. It’s the tendency to add things without including them in the patch notes that now has Helldivers shooting at shadows, convinced a new threat has already been added to the game....
